Set in 1950’s New York, “80 Billion Guys” is a meditation on sexual jealousy and the fragile male ego… and drunk guys relieving themselves on the city streets. The film was created using elements of stop-motion and frame-by-frame animation. I drew each frame in pencil, photographed it, then erased and redrew the scene in its next iteration. Rinse and repeat for a thousand frames or so. The technique seeks to reflect the mid-century setting. Featured at the Rooftop Film Festival.
